Description

Syzygium smithii ‘Allyn Magic’ is a compact, dense-growing shrub reaching 1–2 metres tall, with aromatic, glossy dark green foliage. In late spring, it produces clusters of small white flowers followed by attractive edible purple berries. This versatile native is drought and frost tolerant once established, preferring well-drained fertile soils in full sun to part shade. A reliable choice for hedging, screening, or as a neat ornamental shrub in native gardens.
