Description

Acacia aphylla ‘Leafless Rock Wattle’ is a striking, leafless shrub growing 1–3 m tall and 1–2 m wide. It features smooth, bluish-green, wiry stems that perform photosynthesis in place of leaves, giving it a unique sculptural appearance. Native to rocky hillsides near Perth in south-western Western Australia, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soils. Extremely drought-hardy and frost-tolerant, it’s ideal for low-maintenance gardens, dry native landscapes, contemporary designs, and as a bold architectural feature.
