Description

Spinifex sericeus ‘Hairy Spinifex’ is a low, spreading coastal grass growing 0.3–0.5 metres tall, with fine, hairy foliage forming dense clumps. It produces large, fluffy seed heads from late summer to autumn. Extremely tolerant of drought and salt, it thrives in sandy, well-drained soils in full sun. Ideal for stabilising dunes, erosion control, and low-maintenance native landscaping in coastal environments.
