Description
A distinctive shrub valued for its winged stems, purple-red new growth, and vivid golden flowers. This compact form produces masses of bright globular blooms through winter and spring, adding brilliant seasonal colour and attracting native bees and birds. Its flattened, winged phyllodes give it strong architectural appeal, complemented by finer foliage than the typical species. Hardy and drought tolerant once established, it performs well in well-drained clay or sandy soils and full sun. Ideal as a feature plant or anywhere a bold structural form and striking golden display are desired.

Habitat
