A dense, low-spreading form of the coastal Correa alba. This prostrate variety features velvety grey-green leaves, bronze stems and lovely white star-shaped flowers from autumn through spring. The foliage is soft to the touch and salt-tolerant, making it ideal for coastal plantings. Hardy and adaptable, it performs well in sandy, well-drained soils and suits a variety of conditions. Great for embankments, groundcover massing, or attracting nectar-feeding birds.
Correa alba var. pannosa naturally occurs along the southern Australian coast, thriving in well-drained sandy soils with excellent drainage and full sun to part shade exposure in coastal Mediterranean climates with outstanding salt tolerance.
