Terms & Conditions for the ‘Show Us Your Aussie Native Garden’ Competition
1. Promoter: The promoter of this competition is Kuranga Native Nursery
2. Eligibility:
o The competition is open to Australian residents only, aged 18 and over.
o Employees of Kuranga Native Nursery and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
3. Entry Requirements:
o Participants must upload a photo of to Instagram or email it to info@kuranga.com.au; subject: ‘Home Among the Gumtrees' Competition
o Submissions must include the hashtag #Kuranganativenursery (for social media entries) and a short description of the photo.
o Only one entry per person is allowed.
4. Entry Period:
o The competition begins on Thursday 24th September and ends on 12th October 2025. Entries submitted after the closing date will not be considered.
5. Prize Details:
o One overall winner will receive a $500 plant consultation and 2 runners up will receive a $100 plant voucher from Kuranga Native Nursery.
o The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
o Vouchers must be redeemed within 6 months and can only be used in-store.
6. Judging Criteria:
o Winners will be chosen based on creativity and subject of their photo.
o Judging will be conducted by a panel of experts from Kuranga Native Nursery.
o The judge’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. Winner Notification:
o Winners will be notified via phone or email or social media on Friday 17th October.
o If a winner does not claim the prize within 14 days the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner will be selected.
8. Rights:
o By entering, participants agree that Kuranga Native Nursery may use their photos and descriptions for promotional purposes (e.g., social media, website, newsletters).
o Participants retain full ownership of their images, but grant Kuranga Native Nursery a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the content.
9. Privacy:
o Any personal information collected will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy and for the purpose of administering this competition.
10. Liability:
• Kuranga Native Nursery is not responsible for any technical issues or errors that may occur during entry submission.
• Kuranga Native Nursery reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition if necessary.
11. Disqualification:
• Kuranga Native Nursery reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who does not comply with the entry requirements or attempts to undermine the competition process.
