Brachyscome microcarpa ‘Clarence River’ is a delicate mat-forming groundcover, native to the Clarence River region of northern NSW. It feaures pale green foliage and masses of small, mauve flowers over a long season mostly in the warmer months. Ideal for rockeries, cottage gardens, hanging baskets, and as a soft filler between larger plants.
Brachyscome microcarpa occurs naturally in forests along the eastern coast of Australia, from northern New South Wales, including the Clarence River region, into Queensland. It thrives in moist, well-drained soils and tolerates full sun, though it prefers partial shade, and will withstand short dry periods once established.
