Description
A compact shrub with attractive bronze new growth and deep red bottlebrush flowers tipped with gold in late spring. It tolerates heavy soils with reasonable drainage and performs best in well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. Foliage may be damaged by frost; mulch well and provide occasional watering during extended dry periods. An excellent bird-attracting plant.
