Habitat

Endemic to Tasmania’s Freycinet Peninsula and Schouten Island, it grows in open heath and woodland on well-drained, sandy or granite-based soils. Light pruning after flowering helps maintain a compact form, and established plants tolerate cool climates and light frost.
