Grevillea ‘Winter Delight’ is a charming groundcover valued for its delicate pink flowers and distinctive, woolly foliage. It produces clusters of small, spider-like pink flowers through winter and spring, bringing welcome colour in the cooler months and attracting honeyeaters and other nectar-feeding birds.
The fine, narrow leaves are covered in soft hairs, giving the plant an attractive silvery-grey appearance and a soft, textured finish.
Grevillea lanigera occurs naturally in southeastern Australia, and this cultivar is well suited to temperate to cool-temperate climates with good frost tolerance. It performs best in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soils. Once established, it is hardy and drought tolerant.
