Description
Low, spreading shrub with trailing to mat-forming stems and small green foliage. Produces white flowers in spring, followed by sweet, spicy apple-flavoured green to red berries in summer. The fruit is edible and high in antioxidants, and is highly valued in bush tucker cuisine. Suited to well-drained sandy soils in full sun, and tolerates dry conditions once established.
