This product is 100% pure essential oil of Santalum spicatum, direct from the source – from soil to oil.
Steam distilled from small chips of the oil-bearing heartwood (the centre of the Sandalwood trunk), grown in central-western Australia by the government-regulated Forest Products Commission. These trees are indigenous to the land, with the assured and sustainable processes in place to protect the tree and supply into the future.
Indigenous Australians have long used Australian Sandalwood oil for its various therapeutic benefits. Further research shows that using Sandalwood oil in aromatherapy can be used to mitigate anxiety and enhance relaxation. Improved stress levels will thus serve to promote calmness and in the long run improve overall wellbeing.
