An aromatic, open to compact shrub endemic to sandstone regions of eastern New South Wales and southern Queensland, including the Wollemi and Blue Mountains. Prostanthera cryptandroides ‘Wollemi Mint-Bush’ features narrow, strongly scented leaves and masses of tubular purple to mauve flowers with spotted interiors, blooming from spring to summer. Thriving in full sun to part shade and well-drained soils, it is moderately frost and drought tolerant once established. Ideal for sensory gardens and attracting pollinators, with light pruning recommended after flowering. Listed as vulnerable in the wild.
