Description

Tasmannia lanceolata is an aromatic evergreen shrub with glossy dark green leaves and small white flowers that develop into dark purple berries. Both berries and leaves are prized for their spicy, peppery flavour. To produce berries, male and female plants must be grown together. It thrives in fertile, well-drained soils in part shade and is tolerant of frost and periods of drought once established. A standout for culinary gardens and fragrant landscape use.
