Description

Finger Lime is Australia’s remarkable native citrus, producing elongated fruits filled with tiny citrus pearls that burst with intense lime flavor when eaten. This thorny shrub features small white flowers followed by finger-shaped fruits in various colors from green to pink and purple. The unique caviar-like vesicles inside each fruit are highly prized by gourmet chefs and home cooks for their extraordinary texture and intense citrus flavor. Extremely hardy and drought tolerant once established, it thrives in well-drained soils and makes an excellent addition to edible landscapes and bush tucker gardens.
