Grampians Grevillea is a hardy alpine shrub renowned for its elegant white spider flowers and exceptional cold tolerance. This distinctive species produces clusters of pristine white flowers that attract honeyeaters and native bees while thriving in cooler mountain conditions. The narrow, linear leaves provide attractive fine-textured foliage that remains evergreen year-round, often developing bronze tints in cold weather. Extremely hardy and frost tolerant, it thrives in well-drained soils and full sun positions in cooler climates. Perfect for alpine gardens, rockeries, and cool climate native plantings where cold hardiness and continuous wildlife attraction are essential.
Grevillea gariwerdensis naturally occurs in the Grampians region of Victoria, thriving in well-drained rocky soils with excellent drainage and full sun exposure in cool alpine and subalpine environments.
