Description
Thyrsoid Grevillea is a spectacular low-growing native shrub renowned for its deep pink toothbrush flowers and distinctive fern-like foliage that creates beautiful displays in Australian gardens. This ornamental species produces dense racemes of deep pink, very hairy flowers borne on long stalks that extend beyond the foliage, creating striking displays that attract honeyeaters and other nectar-feeding birds. The fern-like, greyish-green hairy leaves are 4-10cm long and provide attractive fine-textured evergreen coverage. Best suited to areas with dry summers, it requires well-drained soils and full sun positions with at least moderate frost tolerance. Perfect for groundcover, native gardens, and areas where low-growing native shrubs with spectacular pink flowering create memorable landscape displays.
