Lomandra fluviatilis (River Mat-rush) is a hardy, small clumping grass native to waterways and moist forest margins of New South Wales and south-eastern Queensland. It forms dense, arching tufts of grey-green foliage, reaching around 0.4–0.5 metres high and wide, with soft pale yellow flowers appearing in spring. Thriving in full sun to part shade, it is ideal for mass planting, erosion control, and creating natural flowing drifts in garden beds.
