Description
Low-growing, spreading shrub with fine, linear, aromatic green leaves and a dense habit. Produces bright orange-red bottlebrush-like spikes, mainly from spring through summer, with flowering sometimes extending into autumn. Flowers are produced mainly on older wood and are followed by persistent woody capsules. Responds well to light pruning after flowering to maintain a compact, dense form. Suited to full sun and well-drained soils, with adequate moisture supporting growth and flowering; avoid prolonged waterlogging.
