Persoonia oxycoccoides is a compact, mat-forming groundcover native to the sandstone ranges of southeastern New South Wales. Growing to 0.3 m tall and 1 m wide, it features narrow leaves and bright yellow tubular flowers in summer, followed by small, edible green to purplish drupes. This drought-tolerant species thrives in well-drained sandy or rocky soils and is well-suited to naturalistic plantings in full sun or part shade.
