Description
Telopea aspera ‘Gibraltar Waratah’ is a medium-sized shrub growing 2–3 metres tall, with dark green glossy leaves and spectacular red flowers featuring a prominent central cluster. Blooming from late winter to spring, it prefers acidic, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. This frost-tolerant species is ideal as a feature plant in native gardens and attracts birds and pollinators with its vivid blooms.

Endemic to the Gibraltar Range in northern New South Wales, found in open, rocky woodland areas with acidic soils.
