An attractive small shrub that is covered with pink four petaled flowers from late winter through Spring. Great for a colourful wildflower meadow or in containers. It grows best in well-drained moist soil with protection from the hot afternoon sun. Tolerates coastal conditions and mild frosts. Native bees are the recognised pollinators and use ‘Buzz’ pollination.
Tetratheca ericifolia naturally occurs in heathlands and sandy soils across southeastern Australia, thriving in well-drained acidic soils with good air circulation and partial shade protection.
