Acacia craspedocarpa Broad-leaved Mulga is a compact, slow-growing shrub or small tree reaching 2–4 m high and 2–3 m wide. It features broad, rounded grey-green phyllodes and produces bright yellow, ball-shaped flowers mainly in winter and spring. Native to the semi-arid interior of Western Australia, it thrives in well-drained soils and full sun. Extremely drought-tolerant and hardy, it suits waterwise gardens, feature planting, containers, and dry native landscapes.
Hop mulga is endemic to the arid and semi-arid regions of south-central Western Australia. It typically grows in and along watercourses, favouring loamy or clayey soils, and will often form dense thickets in suitable conditions.
