Daintree Pine is a remarkable native tree renowned for its unique conifer-like appearance and distinctive segmented branchlets that create stunning architectural displays. This fascinating species produces drooping, needle-like branchlets that resemble pine foliage but belongs to the she-oak family, creating an unusual and attractive evergreen canopy. The tree develops small cone-like fruits and maintains its distinctive weeping form throughout the year. Thriving in moist, well-drained soils with protection from harsh winds, it brings authentic tropical rainforest character to gardens. Perfect for feature plantings, rainforest gardens, and areas where unique architectural form and tropical ambiance are desired.
