Description

A prostrate selection of the Ovens Wattle, forming a vigorous, spreading groundcover. It produces bright yellow ball-shaped flowers in spring and tolerates a wide range of soil types, including well-drained clay loams and sandy loams. Frost tolerant and drought hardy once established, it performs well in full sun to part shade. It also makes a striking feature when cascading over an embankment or spilling from a large planter tub.
