Swamp Grevillea

Description

Swamp Grevillea is a precious critically endangered native shrub renowned for its spider flowers in shades ranging from pale pink to dark mauve-pink or white, and exceptional tolerance for moist conditions that creates beautiful displays in Australian gardens. This rare species produces clusters of delicate spider-shaped flowers that bloom prolifically, attracting honeyeaters and other nectar-feeding birds while providing excellent nectar sources. The narrow, spreading leaves create attractive fine-textured evergreen foliage that maintains neat growth habits in wet conditions. Hardy and adaptable once established, it thrives in moist, well-drained sandy soils and full sun to partial shade positions with excellent tolerance for creek-line conditions. Perfect for conservation gardens, moist areas, and areas where critically endangered native shrubs with variable flower colors create meaningful landscape displays while supporting species preservation.
