Grevillea linearifolia ‘Weeping Form’ is a graceful shrub with an elegant cascading habit and fine, narrow green foliage. Its arching branches create a soft weeping form that works beautifully as a feature plant or informal screen. Clusters of delicate white spider flowers appear over an extended period, attracting honeyeaters and other nectar-feeding birds. Hardy and adaptable once established, it performs best in well-drained soils in full sun to light shade and responds well to light pruning to maintain shape.
Derived from a species native to eastern New South Wales, particularly around the Sydney sandstone region. In the wild, Grevillea linearifolia grows in dry sclerophyll forest, woodland and heath on sandy, well-drained soils, often over sandstone. The weeping form prefers similar conditions in cultivation, thriving in sunny to lightly shaded positions with good drainage and moderate airflow.
