Description
Hibbertia vestita (‘Hairy Guinea Flower’) is a compact, bushy shrub with small grey-green foliage and masses of bright yellow flowers appearing mainly from late winter through spring with sporodic flowering throughout the year. Its dense habit and colourful display make it an excellent choice for rockeries, borders, and mixed garden plantings.
Hibbertia vestita occurs naturally in heathlands and open forests of Queensland and New South Wales. It is adaptable to a range of well-drained soil types, growing well in full sun to part shade. Once established, it is drought tolerant and well suited to a variety of garden conditions.
