Description
Weeping shrub or small tree with slender, pendulous branches and narrow, softly hairy grey-green foliage. Produces short cylindrical spikes of white to cream or pale yellow flowers, mainly in spring, with woody capsules persisting along the stems. Develops a naturally dense, layered habit and responds to pruning, although excessive pruning can reduce its characteristic weeping form. Suited to full sun and well-drained soils, with adequate moisture during extended dry periods.
